HOW DOES THE APP WORK?

In the app, you register your own profile. You decide when you want to work and what location you want to work in. As a cleaner, you will be offered jobs through the app that you can either accept or refuse.

WILL I BE EMPLOYED IN VASKEHJELP AS?

If you sign up in the app, you will be registered as a self-employed partner. This means that you have to be registered with a company-number in the Norwegian company register. We can take care of that. Vaskehjelp AS pays VAT, but you must pay your own taxes.

HOW MUCH WILL I MAKE PER HOUR?

You decide your own hourly rate but it can not be lower than 177 NOK per hour.

WHY IS THE CUSTOMER'S PRICE HIGHER THAN MY HOURLY WAGE?

Once you have placed your hourly rate, the app adds 24.7% per hour that goes to insurance and operations. Then the app will add 25% VAT.

To register your profile, you press “REGISTER” and choose “CLEANER.” You fill in your name, e-mail and make your own password. You must then enter your account number and company registration number. Then choose what area you want to work in. If you want to work near your home, enter your own address. You can then drag the marker to make the area larger or smaller. With a larger area, you will be available to more customers. Then fill in your hourly rate and when you want to work. Lastly, upload a profile picture to complete your profile.

Once a customer has booked you will receive a notification from the app that you are booked for a job. You must then confirm whether you will take the assignment or not. In the message, you will see when the customer has booked you, for how many hours and the customer’s address.

Once you have accepted the assignment, a chat function will appear between you and the customer in the app. In the chat, the customer can give you practical messages about where the key is, if there are any animals in the house, where the cleaning equipment is etc. You can also give messages to the customer if you are late, or if you should have any questions. The chat also includes Google translate so if you do not speak the customer’s language, you can write in your own language and it will automatically be translated.

You are responsible for making sure you have time to get to the next job when you confirm the engagement. If you miss it, but have accepted the assignment please contact the customer via chat.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide you with access to the house. If you are unable to access the house at the time you have agreed upon, you will get paid for the entire order you were requested for.

You will receive payment for the jobs you have completed every 14 days. Payment dates are the 1st and 15th of every month. If the 1st or 15th falls on weekend or holiday the payment will be completed the following work day.

When you have finished an assignment, you will get a question from the app if you are done. It is important that you press yes, then the transaction will be transferred once you have confirmed.

The customer may at any time cancel the assignment. You will get a push notification that the customer has canceled.

If you get sick, contact the customer via the chat and set up a new appointment.

If you feel that the customer has not ordered enough hours, you can contact the customer via chat and tell the costumer. If the customer wants you to work extra, you must enter the “edit job” and add an hour. Customer will then be asked to accept that you add an hour. It is important that the customer has accepted before working extra, because you will not be paid for the extra hours if the customer does not accept. If the customer does not accept, you work the hours which were ordered.

If you feel that the customer has not ordered enough hours, you can contact the customer via chat and tell the customer. If the customer wants you to work extra, you must “edit job” and add time. The customer will then be asked to accept the added time. It is important that the customer has accepted before working extra, because you will not be paid for the extra hours if the customer does not accept. If the customer does not accept, you work the hours which were ordered.

The customer is responsible for providing cleaning equipment. If something is missing please inform the customer via chat.

This is what the customer is informed that they can expect from a standard house cleaning:

Living room:
-Vacuum
-Mop Floor
-Dust all available surfaces
-Vacuum clean sofa
-Clean counter tops (dining table, living room table, TV stand, etc.)

Kitchen:
-Vacuum
-Mop Floor
-Dust all available surfaces
-Clean kitchen tops
-Clean sink
-Clean surface of stove
-Empty trash can

Bathroom / toilet:
-Vacuum
-Mop Floor
-Dust all available surfaces
-Clean Counter tops, vanity and mirror
-Clean Shower / bathtub
-Clean toilet
-Empty trash can

Bedroom:
-Vacuum
-Mop Floor
-Dust all available surfaces
-Make the bed

Entrance etc:
-Vacuum
-Mop Floor
-Dust all available surfaces
-Also other tasks as agreed between the customer and cleaner

If there are other things the customer wants to have done, inform the customer via chat how much more time it will take.
You shall not perform exterior window cleaning due to security reasons.

When you finish an assignment, the customer will have the opportunity to give you stars based on how satisfied the customer is with the job you have done. You will be able to see your total ranking in your profile.

Here are some tips for getting more jobs:
-Increase the area you want to be available in
-Have competitive prices
-Keep the rating system in mind while cleaning
The cleaners with the highest rating will top the charts of available cleaners for the customers.

If the customer is not satisfied, we recommend that the customer contacts you so that you get the opportunity to fix the situation. The customer can complain about the job within 24 hours after the job is completed. The customer must then document through an image in the chat what the person is not happy with and send it to you, as well as a copy of the complaint to support@vaskehjelp.no. Vaskehjelp AS will hold the payment until the claim is settled between you and the customer.

If a customer gives you several low ratings, please contact support@vaskehjelp.no

If the customer thinks that illegalities have occurred, the customer must report it to the police. Vaskehjelp AS is not involved in reporting a criminal offence to the police. If you are sentenced for a criminal offence for services made available through the app, your profile will automatically be deleted. Even if a police report does not result in a criminal sentence, Vaskehjelp AS will have the right to delete your profile from the app if the reported cases give cause for concern.

As a cleaner connected to the app, you are nor allowed to make appointments with customers without the use of the app. Any such cases this will result in your profile being automatically deleted from the app, and you will be held accountable for any loss Vaskehjelp AS may have as a result of this. All cleaning assignments between the customer and the cleaner where original contact is mediated via the app must comply with the conditions applicable.

As a cleaner connected to the app, you are not allowed to make appointments with Vaskehjelp customers without the use of the app. Any such cases this will result in your profile being automatically deleted from the app, and you will be held accountable for any loss Vaskehjelp AS may have as a result. All cleaning assignments between the customer and the cleaner where original contact is mediated via the app must comply with the conditions applicable.

 

After a cleaner’s profile is deleted from the app, either voluntary or mandatory, the cleaner must refrain from making contact with customers connected to the app regarding cleaning assignments for the first 12 months after deletion.

Personal data will be treated according to the Personal Data Act. By accepting the terms of the app, you simultaneously give consent that your personal data can be used as laid down in the Personal Data Act Chapter II.
